Program 1" seminar for dental hygienists was successfully completed!

The dental hygienist course seminar "Program 1: Accurate and Comprehensive Documentation for Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment" supervised by Dr. Junichi Watabiki, President of IOS, was completed on October 2.

We would like to introduce some of the highlights of the seminar.

In addition to classroom lectures, the seminar included practical training.

The next "Program 2" on Sunday, November 13th will focus on "Basic Comprehensive Oral Management for Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment".

During orthodontic treatment, all risks increase.

For example, many patients have problems such as increased tooth decay after orthodontic treatment or gum recession after orthodontic treatment.

In addition, it is difficult to manage their oral health because orthodontic treatment is a long-term treatment.

In this program, we will discuss the risk management of caries and perio before, during, and after orthodontic treatment, and the actual treatment and maintenance methods that dental hygienists can use in the course of comprehensive orthodontic treatment.
